Did Beyonce Slip Up and Reveal Her Baby’s Gender?

Beyonce recently sat down in an interview with E! Online and surprisingly, she may have slipped up and given a clue as to the baby’s gender when the plan was to keep it under wraps.

Did you ever get use to the fans?
No, it’s always so beautiful to do a new event and some of the fans, a lot of them I’ve seen over the years and it’s always great to see them. You just never know what to expect so it always beautiful to see the support.

I am a woman and I know all of the pressures we have to go through and I know how difficult it is. I know how much we have to balance and juggle and I always try to write songs I need to hear as a woman and I know that it’s not many great role models and I try my best, I’m not perfect but I try my best to encourage women to be entrepreneurs and work hard, have their own goals and always know their worth.

Does being pregnant make you feel more empowered as a woman?
Oh, I feel so empowered. I feel so powerful! I mean it is the most incredible gift anyone can have and I’m so happy I’m a woman. I know men….I feel bad that they don’t get to feel this, it’s incredible.

Do you put music up to your belly yet?
No, I think my baby has heard a lot of my music because I’ve been performing the whole time, dancing, singing and in the studio. I think my baby has heard lots and lots of very loud music.

Can you tell me about the importance of ’4′ and if there is any way you can get this baby to come out on the 4th?
I’m trying to see if I could arrange that but I’m not sure if God is going for it, he has his own plan or she has her own plan. We all have numbers that are significant in our lives I believe we just have to pay attention. Four is the number that is always there. I mean 4:44…..I look up and special things happen at that time or I’ll be on the 44^th floor. It goes really deep but I don’t wanna weird you out but my fans told me “‘4’ we’re waiting on ‘4,’ so it was the fourth album and it was only natural that I gave the fans what they wanted and I thought “This is my favorite album and I’m going to name it my favorite number.”

Maybe four kids?

Maybe four people in my family.

How do you think you’ll be as a mother? Will you take the baby everywhere you go?

I think I probably will be. I’ve seen different mothers and I know my mother worked really hard and she definitely didn’t stop. My mother was a great example of how it is possible to own your own salon, be a great wife, spend family time, and make the lunches & costumes and all of those things. So that was my example and I’m hoping that I’m going to just keep it moving and bring my baby with me.

One can argue that she could have referred to God possibly being a “she”, but I think a lot of people would agree that it was the baby’s gender. Although they haven’t released the exact due date, various reports tell us to look forward to the birth being around February 2012.

Kanye West Just Debuted His New Fashion Line This Month. Could It Be Over Already?

Kanye West surprised everyone at Paris Fashion Week, when he debuted his new fashion line, DW by Kanye West, named in honor of his late mother, Donda West.

Some of the celebrities in attendance were Lindsay Lohan, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olson, as well as Chanel Iman. Kanye made it a point to let the audience know that he did not care for celebrities.

“This is my first collection. Please be easy. Please give me a chance to grow. This is not some celebrity s–t. I don’t   f–k with celebrities. I f–k with the creatives in this room—the amazing people who spend every day of their life trying to make the world a more beautiful place.”

He also went as far as to share the struggles that he had in making his line a reality.

“Thank you for anybody that didn’t believe, because they motivated us to break our boundaries,” he said. “We don’t know what the reviews will be, we don’t know what they will say, but I got a chance to go to Italy and feel those fabrics. I begged Louis Vuitton to let me do more shoes after my shoes sold out in two weeks, and they did not. I begged Nike, I begged this company to let me do it. And I took out motherf–king loans to get the best models, to get the best designers, to get the best venue. I gave you everything that I had.”

The saddest part of the story is, according to E! Online, is that two days after the photos of his line hit the internet, the official word now is that West and his backers are closing up shop.

Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple Inc., Resigns.

Steve Jobs, the ailing visionary and co-founder of Apple Inc. has resigned. The resignation came during a meeting with his board of directors on Wednesday, where he stated that he was no longer able to operate as the chief executive and handed the responsibility over to his COO, Tim Cook.

Although he will no longer be the CEO of Apple Inc., he will remain on the board of directors as chairman.

What’s most admirable about Jobs is the fact that his yearly salary was only $1 despite the fortune he made on Apple’s innovative products. He still, however, owns 2.1 billion in shares with the company. And whoever knew that he is currently the largest shareholder with Disney??? His stock alone with them is worth 4.4 billion.

Job’s declining health is due to his diagnosis of pancreatic cancer back in 2004. He also underwent a liver transplant 2 years ago.

It is surely a sad day for Apple lovers everywhere. Without this man, we would be without our iPods, iPhones, iPads and MacBooks. I guess this means the end of an era. I’m not sure if anyone will ever be able to fill Job’s role.

Hate Crime In Mississippi: Black Man Is Beaten And Run Over By White Teens *Video Footage*

CNN is reporting that on a recent Sunday morning two car loads of white teenagers drove to Jackson, Mississippi, with the intentions of finding and hurting a “black” person, and the first one that they could find. The result was the gruesome and senseless murder of 49-year-old James Craig Anderson. They probably thought they would get away with it, but much to their surprise, the murder was caught on surveillance video, which can be viewed here.

When the teens initially came across Anderson, he was standing in a parking lot near his car. surveillance captured the teens beating him and yelling racial slurs. According to witnesses, they were also yelling “white power”. After Anderson was beaten, one group of teens left, but the driver of the second vehicle had his own plan in mind. He climbed into his green Ford F-250, along with his female passengers, and drove it over Anderson as he stumbled along the road helplessly. He died instantly.

The group was led by the owner of the vehicle, 18-year-old Deryl Dedmon Jr., of Brandon, Mississippi. Dedmon took part in the beating and also told friends while partying and drinking miles away that night, “let’s go f*** with some n*****s,” according to law officials.

Officials were told that Dedmon laughed about the killing during a phone call to friends where he stated, “I ran that n**** over.”

At 18 years old, Dedmon could face two life sentences. John Aaron Rice, another teen involved in the beating has been charged with simple assault for his partaking in the beating.

Other teens in the group have not been charged.

Nicki Minaj’s Wardrobe Malfunction On Good Morning America

This morning Nicki Minaj performed on ABC’s “Good Morning America” at Central Park in New York City. During her performance of “Moment 4 Life”, she had a slight wardrobe malfunction. I apologize for the explicit content, but there are a lot worse things in life than Nicki’s nipple.

Longview’s Allyson Yates Debuts On TLC’s ‘Toddlers & Tiaras’ And Says “I Want To Be Brown Like Beyonce”

If you missed it, Longview’s own Allyson Yates made a grand appearance on TLC’s ‘Toddlers and Tiaras”. Ally made quite the impression and media outlets everywhere are beginning to cover this 4 year old diva. After the show aired, she even got attention from OK! Magazine. Why? Because Ally is not only breathtaking to look at, but she makes it clear while getting spray tanned that she wants to be brown like Beyonce! Lol. Unfortunately, there are some people in the press who are making negative statements about the innocent comments made by Yates, but when did embracing other ethnicities become a crime? It’s truly sad that the media would even go there, but the positive attention Ally is getting outweighs the negative attention by far and I have the feeling that this is just the beginning of Ally’s career.

I’ve actually had the pleasure of meeting Ally on several occasions. For all of you in East TX that know Ally or her mother Kylene, you can attest to the fact that she has a “larger than life” personality and is an absolute sweetheart. Plus, no one believed me when I would tell them that Ally loved playing with “brown” dolls and slept in a large castle. Now I have proof! My fondest memory yet is her mother telling her to hug me goodbye, and Ally replying “No thank you.” She eventually gave me a hug, but it was so funny to hear that response coming from a 3 year old at that time. She just politely says what she feels and means no harm.

According to TMZ.com, Dallas Police Department finally released the 911 call made by hotel management in last months incident with Nicki Minaj , which occurred at Dallas’ Upscale Hotel Palomar.  Up until now, Nicki and Safaree both have adamantly denied accusations that anything happened at all.

Fantasia Confirms Pregnancy At Charity Concert *Video Footage*

On yesterday, July 31st, Fantasia held some sort of charity event (concert) for the opening of a low-income apartment complex…or so the video suggests…somewhere in Jacksonville, Florida. During her performance, she finally confirmed the rumors circulating of her pregnancy, citing:

“For a while I walked around figuring out what will they say and what will they think about me. But now I tell you I don’t live my life for folk. THIS CHILD THAT I AM CARRYING…God has given me this child. And I don’t have to hide it from NONE of y’all.”

Amy Winehouse In Middle of Adoption Process Before Untimely Death

Unbeknownst to the general public, Amy Whinehouse had began the adoption process of a young child in St. Lucia before her untimely death. The name of the young girl was Dannika Augustine. Winehouse met the girl a little more than 2 years ago as she would frequent Marjorie Lambert’s bar (who is the child’s grandmother) on the island. According to Marjorie, she says “Amy used to beg me: ‘I want to adopt Dannika. I want to take her to England.’ She was prepared to move to St Lucia to be her full-time mum.” 

The grandmother also says that she didn’t see what Amy saw in Dannika, being that there were always so many children around on the island, but says that they were inseperable, spending all day together walking the beach, riding horses, and playing.

At the time of her death, Amy was just two weeks away from returning back to the islands to visit Dannika. Her plane ticket was booked and the adoption attorneys had been hired. The family states that they all gave Amy their blessing in adopting Dannika, including the father (Marjorie’s son) who is no longer with the child’s mom, and currently lives in England. He says that Winehouse called him personally to get his blessing on the adoption.

Sadly, Dannika interviewed with the British tabloids citing:

“Amy was already my mother. I would call her mum and she would call me her daughter. She took care of me and we had fun together. I loved her and she loved me. She was the most amazing person and I was looking forward to living with her here or in London. I cannot believe she is gone.”

Although spokespersons for Winehouse deny that an adoption was taking place, the family in St Lucia believes that had it not been for Winehouse sudden death, that she would be right there completing the adoption process.”

Tami Roman Gives Producers on Basketball Wives Ultimatum: If Meeka Returns, I Won’t.

If you have been following this season of Basketball Wives, you witnessed Tami Roman’s infamous fight with Meeka Claxton…if you can even call it a fight. Within the last week or so media outlets announced that Claxton filed to sue Roman for the attack, stating it caused serious injury. The specific amount that Meeka is pursuing is unclear, but she does claim that she missed money from a day of filming due to the incident and of course, pain and suffering.

According to TMZ.com Tami has informed the producers that if Meeka Claxton returns to the show in any way, shape or form, that she is GONE. No word yet on what the outcome will be.
